Went back to the archives and found these two.

Did some minor tweaking to bring out the blue sky and the colors in the contrail.

Just a bit different than my mainly Military Aircraft postings.

Would welcome any and all comments.

despite what people may think, those type of planes aren't really my thing but that is a sweet set of shots

How did you take those without flash?

J
:)

Great photos BTW..
I may be missing something here... but if you had a flash powerful enough to reflect off of a plane flying at 30,000 + feet... :lmao:

What do you mean by that man?

A flash is for dark places... not the underside of planes flying in the air.

Very nice sky looks amazing :hail::)

love the first. what focal length?

Those are beautiful. I'm partial to the first, myself, but both are nice.

And, echoing everyone else, what was your focal length?

I dislike aircraft photos, but that is excelent, the first thing it made me thing is how observant the photographer must be to be looking up for that, then i thought that it was a very nice picture, so got a double whammy of it, thanks

The info from hovering the mouse over the image says 64mm. Nice shots. Were you at 22,000 feet when you took them?

sweet, I really get the feeling of expelled energy from these...

very very technically nice shots, not easy to get....
