Very interesting news.... I once sold stock through a company named Westlight, in the1990's they were bought out by Getty and Getty has ruined the stock business over the years for photographers to make any real money.. It is fkn shame what has happened to the photo industry...... I am pissed that this crap takes place. Companies like Westlight and Tony Stone made money for themselves and their photographers.

Technologies in general changed the economic curve for stock photography. Not only did digital technologies flood the marketplace with pics on the legit side, unfortunately to muddy up the waters further it also provided a "copy and paste" tool.
