Beach Shots

My first post here, so hello.

Just looking for some of your thoughts on my recent photos.

Image tweaked in Lightroom; over exposed the driftwood in the foreground and underexposed the sky slightly. I also boosted the colours and clarity.

Same scene, different angle. Did the same as before but also took up the white balance temperature to bring out the oranges of the setting sun in the sky, sand and wood.

Again, edited to bring out the blues in the water.

#1 is wicked cool. I don't like the burn on the clouds. I think you could have made the transition between the clouds more transparent.

Definitely number 1. It's as if some kind of tragedy had just occurred. If it wasn't an intact piece I'd think a ship somewhere hit reefs and broke apart.
