Hi, inspired by AIRICs "closed doors" I found this photo that I took a while ago. The whole area around are like very old ugly buildings and someone painted three gates at this particular building blue. These gates just jump at you ...

I am surprised you found a BLUE door. Where I am, the barndoors are usually all green. That alone makes this door stand out - and the blue is also very bright.
Have you ever considered giving this photo a very tight cropping - reducing it to almost only door and a bit?

    Thanks all.

LaFoto, I might try cropping, haven't thought about cropping tighter. I actually liked it like it is. I wanted to clone out the tube at the right-hand side ... I was just too lazy up to now. Well ... time to play with it I guess :)
