BD, nice image. Perhaps they were upset because you took their picture? The only thing that bothers me is that great big stick in the middle. I am not sure what I would do with it if it was mine - clone it out, or leave it - this becomes a very personal thing, but for me, at least, it is a definite distraction as that is where my eyes went when I first saw the image.

Realistically, pretty impossible to remove as it is a part of the tree and nest structure. No matter what angle I shot it from, that branch became prominent or blocked one of the two chicks. They look pissed because they were hungry and momma hadn't brought breakfast.

I guess they are young birds at the nest? Personally I don't mind the branch. I think it works as part of the "Osprey nest" ambiance.

Great capture. I get WGs concern over the stick,but to me it is just a part of the whole and belongs.
