5 degrees up in the Anchorage hillside yesterday morning, and the rubber-nosed swamp donkeys were real agreeable to being photographed. A spike bull got curious enough to come check me out until I scared him off at about 8 feet, too close to shoot with the 100-400mm. Here are a couple of the big boys.
