Went to the local bus museum yesterday, not something I'd do out of choice normally, but I had to amuse the kids somehow. It brought back memories of the old buses that I used to catch as a kid going to school, and one in particular that was a showbus that used to do regular route work along with going to shows. You could spot it a mile away as it was the only one that was still in the original corporation colours whilst every other bus had turned to a sickly orange colour, a working machine full of chrome and aluminium and that you could hear the diesel engine and gearbox working on and used to make your head tickle when you put it against the windows when it was stopped at the bus stop. Well here's a few pictures that I took that sort of reminded me of my childhood, I thought I'd convert them to B&W as we didn't have colour in those days And a very very rare one....
