You have posted a lot of pictures, most people on the forum are not going to sit down and spend the time needed to critique that many images. You will get a better response if you limit your images to about 4.

That is a sure way to make me not comment.

But it's not as if nobody has addressed this before. There are multiple threads about how to post images for C&C.

What to include, etc.

I'm sorry. I'm brand new to anything beyond taking cell phone pictures so I was just hoping for some feedback. This seemed to be the way y'all do it on the other threads. I'm obviously not a right fit here, everyone else is much more highly skilled and have their own culture on this forum that I don't fit into. I will go away.

Dont go away but give us a bit more information next time you post some pics for critique.

Can you tell me if the processing was in camera or done after the pics were taken? they all look over saturated for my taste but if thats what you like go with it.

All of the pics posted look like they are suffering from camera shake. There is a technique to holding a camera that takes practice. Try breathing out just before you click the button and take every opportunity to use a tripod or other support like a wall or fence post and press the button gently.

I see from exif data that at least 1 pic was taken with a Canon Powershot. My only camera is a FUJI HS 20 bridge camera which I love. Compare my earlier posts to what I am posting now. I posted crap and got panned for it but I got better.

I am sorry you feel the people who posted here have been a bit harsh on you but please persevere.

You should start your own thread. You can post it in the appropriate forum, give it some title, post your photograph, and ask questions if you like.

Then you go back into this thread and delete your post.

If you truly want to learn don't go away just take everything in and take what works and doesn't for what you want to do. You can learn a lot here and yes try posting 3 photos so it's easier to critique. I usually do 1 and then post another later.

I'll take the cat with Christmas lights. Now I like the composition and the subject matter. The lighting seems harsh like it was shot mid day. Usually shooting mid day you get harsh lighting if you are in direct sunlight. Notice the haloing on it's ear? That is a sign it may have been over processed. Did you do a lot of editing? I think stepping to your right would have made a better angle but I like the DOF with the blurry background since there isn't much interest back there.
