Cactus trigger mod comment

Hey all

I recently did the mod to my cactus trigger that JerryPH did and I thought I would post my experience with it.

At first it sucked!!!

The range on the unit went down to inches and I was very disappointed.

I was thinking of ordering another trigger, thinking I had pooched mine, when I decided to mess with it some more.

I found that the range was excellent if I had the cover off the trigger and the antenna out of the case, but once I put it back in the case the range dropped to inches!

In the end I stretched the windings that I did to fit the antenna into the case and tweeked them until the range was up and then closed the case.

I'm writting this so anyone doing the mod has some ideas up front incase they have similar trouble to me.
