Two shots from the 2007 Folk-life Festival on the National Mall in Washington, DC. The exhibit was entitled 'Mekong' and featured craftsmen from cities and villages along the Mekong River.

These two were calligraphers from different parts of China.

Oh I LOVE the second one.. the colors are awesome and the concentration in his face on the first is great. How come nothign neat like that ever happens where I live? Huh?

I think the plastic cup in the background of the first one takes away from that 'ancient' feel that is so beautifully captured in the second shot. Regardless, they are both very nice shots. The second one just really tickles my fancy.
