Stunning! (An HDR, right?). Love how you composed it, with the 'land' part on the diagonal in the foreground (and so crisp!), set off by that beautiful sky in the background. That lone tree on the left really adds to the shot as well.
Thanks Anty, You are correct this is a HDR image.
This probably one of my most favorite images!
btw- houses in this area average around 40 to 50 Million dollars!
Nice pic - surprised they let something as lowly as a photographer on the beach round there.
Will be in that area for 2 days in October to visit Pt Lobos (my annual pilgrimage)
They do charge a fee of $7.50 just for the privilege of driving on thier public roads. I believe they call it is a state park, but think the fee is more about keeping the riff, raff out and away from the ultra wealthy type’s backyards. The Pebble Beach Country Club is also located in this area.
The property taxes paid in one year alone for these homes would allow a common person to retire at a very early age.
Thank you guys for your comments!
very nice. I love that area. I drove through Monterey once a few years ago.
Gorgeous colors, and great looking tones. Well done!
Holy Moly!! That boggles the mind.
an excellent HDR in my opinion as it doesn't give that overly surreal feeling
Thanks again everyone, I really appreciate it!
Art at its best!
