    Like a couple of tweetie pies
    I set myself the task of trying to catch them in flight as I never actually see their wings as they are so quick on and off the feeder

    Sky diving exhibition!
    The wings are small in comparison with their length and must move fast as all taken a 1/2000th and I apologise for the grain as iso 1600 in today's rather poor light.​

    In that second pic you definitely caught it 'spread eagle'. And you aptly named them 'rockets', as you can sense from your pics just how quickly they were flitting about.
