Well, sorry to say so, but photographically Photo 5 is the winner in my book here, and that one does not show any child at all. Just a hand.
And some really nice DOF. Almost a tad too shallow. But you photographed in the given light, so there... and got really close!

I also like Photo 3, that being focused on the play on the carpet!

I'd be lying if I said that #5 wasn't my fav, too.

I'm working on a series. My intent is to show human emotion without showing a human face, or at least not much of the face. I think I might use #5 in that series.

What troubles me though is that whenever I shoot under tungsten lights, I get a yellow cast on my shots even though I had the white balance set for tungsten light. I'm no PS master. I'd rather shoot digital like I shoot film...get it right in the camera.
