Coast Guard Helicopter and beach

    This is my 1st photo post.
    I made these image yesterday while in my boat anchored off the beach at Anna Maria Island , FL with my Nikon D300s and 70-300 VR.

    It was about 1/4 mile away, so this is severely cropped.

    I think the green tint on the helo body is from being close to this water.

    #1. I would suggest putting (cropping) the helo in the upper left hand corner or at least somewhere on the left side of the picture to show that it's moving somewhere. Search the forum here and look at pictures of birds in flight to see what I mean.

    #2. I like the motion in the blades! For me, it's a perfect balance of being frozen it time and having no definition.
