Columns to Nowhere

This is a cropped and resized image of some columns at the largest park here in town. These are the actual columns between which Abraham Lincoln gave the Gettysburgh Address. Somehow they were shipped to thier final resting place here in Lincoln, NE.

The second image was taken with a point and shoot and gives you an idea of the site that they are located on. Due to resizing, the second image is stretched in the vertical.

#1 I like a lot (love the angle, the composition in general, and the colour contrast). #2 not so much.

Love the first one, i actually like the second one too but its a little blurry or something. Nice though!!
