TPF Noob!
I have also made the jump to CS5. Now, let me make clear that I'm not the kind of guy to upgrade every single time a new tech comes out. New gadgets and features are nifty, but if a program does everything I need, even if it isn't flashy with lots of curious features, I stick with it. For this reason, though I have tested CS3 and CS4, and ultimately stuck with my own copy of CS2.. I just didn't feel the push to upgrade.
But, with CS5's new content aware fill, along with the new fine detail masking abilities this is one upgrade I can say with certainty is 'a must'. I don't feel I could go back to previous versions after using this.
Hobbyists will enjoy less frustration with 'tough' post-capture processing jobs.. but the pro's will quickly find that with the faster workflow and extended features, the upgrade will pay for itself in no time.
