Morning light bathes an egg, which is placed in the fountain in celebration of Corpus Christi. According to scholars, this particular tradition (“L’Ou Com Balla” aka “The Dancing Egg”) might symbolize rebirth / the body of Christ. The egg is held aloft by the fountain for the duration of the celebration.
