Correction - I DO photograph birds

    But only herons! It seems that herons are like buses - you wait for ages for one to come along (see yesterday's image), and then a few turn up all together! This one was stalking in the estuary at Arnside, Cumbria, this afternoon.

    I agree. And those reflections of the clouds are yummy.

    Thanks BoblyBill & Antarctican. The shot was taken from a limestone cliff by the edge of the estuary. I was able to get this reflection of the sky because I was shooting downwards.

    Thanks Tangerini, Dani & GYFAP. I suppose this isn't actually a "real" bird shot at all - a human fisherman would probably do the job in the composition as well as the heron, though probably not as elegantly :D.
