Was culling some old files and can across this one which I liked.

I rather like this one as well Lew- a couple of thoughts if I may. There's a little bit of perspective distortion which I find annoying, and I would also consider cropping the LH side immediately before the start of the white wall/panel and the RH side to remove the partial dark painting at the edge of the frame.

I think there is a feeling of isolation because he is standing alone in the middle of the repeated pattern of hoops, looking around, and in the background, there is one other child holding a hoop right next to an adult. The other figures are engaged in something and this child is alone.

Note that the center of interest, the child, is central in the picture, not at a third.
Do you think that helps the picture or hurts it?
 
Because of the hoops it helps to be centered IMO.
