So I order a new flash from 47th St Photo. It was a Opteka EF 600DG Super Flash. I put batteries in it and hook it up to camera. I turn the flash on and its making this super loud motor sound. I thought it must just be it warming up. So I let it go and then it stops. I try to take a photo with my new flash in the TTL mode and the thing won't flash.
Is this something I am doing wrong or do you think the flash doesn't work? I called up 47th St Photo and told them about it and they are going to exchange it for me. Shouldn't the flash auto flash as long as I have it on and in TTL mode? I tried taking close-ups, distance shots, and bouncing the flash but nothing.
So very confused......
