Does this work? nature shot, obscured

So, when you don't have the ability to get close to nature, via feet or lens, is it accetable to try and frame the nature artistically?

I didnt want to get too close to these little guys, as their mother was feeding them lizards! Which of these work, and which don't:

I'm not an expert, but for my personal view, #1 is the better shot. I can see the babies waiting for their food. For #2 if I didn't know it was a bird's nest, I don't think I'd see it. The blurred leaf in the foreground is very distracting to me. In #3, maybe if you cropped out the front leaf?

#4...she deserves a gummy worm for that pose...adorable.

#1 is the best, the other ones have too much crap in the way.

The last one is great. It has a nice softness to it.
