DX Bargain

I bought a Z50 with the 2 kit lenses back when they 1st came out and I've been happy with it. I've always thought I needed an ultra wide zoom like a 12-24 but Nikon has been reluctant to make any DX Z lenses. I think only a 18-140 and now they have made an ultrawide with blogging in mind. The other day I was browsing KEH and I just put Nikon DX in the search window. There are a bunch of really nice DX f mount lenses at bargain prices. I got a 12-24 f/4 (no caps but otherwise like new) for $118! This is a mostly metal lens and works great with my FTZ adapter.

1st thing I noticed was just how bright and contrasty the viewfinder was and it is tack sharp.

If it works for you, who cares? I'm happy with those cheap-a$$ Chinese-made Nikkor APS G prime lenses. Sharp as the old Nikkors--and lighter! As long as they deliver, the price tag is irrelevant.
