    Nice, good idea, but the problem with so low light is the heavy grain effect.
    I guess I will steal your idea and do some experiments as well.

    A lot of the grain is sharpening artifacts - I scanned this and my scanner is garbage, which means I have to do a lot of processing to get the image looking even slightly like the print.

    It's not really my idea, I've seen zoom flicking done on here a few times and decided to try it at this location. I return to this spot about once a month to try to get it right (city and electric wires, without sliding the zoom) but I'm not happy with my other results yet.
