I don't own any Olympus gear, but I do read VSL.
The new Olympus has a sensor-shift high res mode which, among other things, gives you vastly superior color rendering. Apparently this isn't their idea, but holy cow is it a good idea.
You shift the sensor left and right, up and down, so that at each sensel position you sample the two Greens, the Red, and the Blue. So you don't have to do Bayer interpolation at all any more.
If you do product photography, this is your next purchase.
