Hi everyone!
My name is brittany, i go to the art institute for photography. I wanted some critiques on these images because I don't really care for them. But then again, it is my work, and i always grade myself harder than others.

Let me know what you think! I want to know if you think any are portfolio quality.

Hi Brittany,

Firstly, welcome to the forum.

You will find that you will get more response if you display the images in the post, rather than using links. Also, you will get more/better responses if you post one image at a time and give us more details about the shot and what you wanted to accomplish with the shot.

Please see the Critique forum guidelines for more info http://www.thephotoforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51800

Yes, I did like tried like Brittany and when I go to preview my post it shows the actual image(s), but then when I offically post it then it just displays the link. How do you guys do it?
Thanks in advance.

Let's give this a try...

You need to have the image's URL in between the IMG tags (no spaces). You can do this by clicking the image button and pasting the whole URL into the pop up box.

Great work, by the way. I look forward to seeing more.

go edit your post, highlight each link individually and then click the little "insert image" button, to the left of quote and right below the redo button. it looks like a landscape. that will put image tags
on the link.

i like number one, i think the problems with the others are:
background distracting - open up your aperture or switch locations
bland light- try and find some more interesting lighting.
Similar full body composition everytime - mix it up a liittle maybe
your pics seem to suggest you can work with models well though.
