    Dee, these are wonderful!! I don't think I've ever seen a moorhen, and I definitely haven't seen baby moorhens before (as I'd definitely remember seeing that!) They sure are funny looking babies. Thanks for sharing these.

    quite nice :) the second one is a crop from the last one?

    could the white balance be slightly off? nicely captured moments though.

    I hate to be picky, but the adults are actually Coots! I don't know why they are looking after Moorhen chicks though...

    I love the shots, very good detail of the chicks and composed well with colour.

    Hi Blair, I believe you are right. I may have got confused, as the MoorHen and Coots are very similar, one has white beak and the other red is usually how I distingush them.
