    Really nice!! Fave is the last one, nice capture. I think the first one might need some color correction for some red in the highlights or midtones.. only cc i can think of :)

    You must have got down right to the ground to capture pics 1 & 2. Good clean backgrounds on all your shots!

    The first one is the best in my opinion.

    You shot these with a 500mm??

    yes...shot all with 500mm @ 4.8fstop. Noticed these guys in front of me as I was hiking with my gear.

    Super-cool looking critters. Wow. Very, very sharp. Good detail. Lovely colours. That BIG (!) grasshopper in the first looks like it's going to jump towards me from out of the screen any time now!

    But I particularly like that hairy little caterpillar. He looks cute. I want to pet him! :D

    Boy. You must have strong back to be hiking with the 500mm lens in tow! Could never happen to me. (For lack of said lens ;)).
