png.vs jpeg...which one has the better quality?

i assume your referring to when you save the images??? i'm not sure there is a quality difference.. png is typically just for mac users... windows people might be able to open them, i'm not sure... jpeg is across the board though, so probably smart to just use jpg

o ok...well i have windows and i can open png formats with adobe fireworks...but was just wonderin what the difference was...ill reseach it later to night....gotta to go work
