Fly: from another angle

I don't usually shoot insects with their back-ends being the subject of attention, but I just find the architecture of flies intriguing, so much detail on such a small seemingly insignificant life form. I just find the small hairs and patterns on the metallic abdomen fascinating to the eye.

I agree with you...they are so fascinating, so intricate...we are quite bland and featureless in comparison. :lol:

Once again, I am impressed with your maco abilities...your skill (and equipment) is what I aspire to develop in my own photography.

Did you use the Nikon D90 with the 105mm micro? Great shot by the way.
