Well I was able to get my hands on a media pass for the event from a friend of my Gaelen Norman. We headed down late Friday and missed the media meeting so I was only able to take a few photos of parked cars. Saturday was just insane, from the screaming crowd to the music the cars were making at high rpm.
Lots of drama, carnage, and just pure awesomeness is what this event was about, I cant wait to see the footage the photographers/video guys are going to put out.

With that said, here is what I came up with, hope you guys enjoy the photos.

I was using a Nikon D80 with a Tamron 70-300 lens, as for settings i was trying to keep the speed around 1/60th's but it varied depending on the angle.
