From the heart of a blizzard.

Was driving from Wyoming to Utah and got caught in the middle of one of the blizzards earlier this month. Stopped for a minute to take some pics to show the skeptics back in Vegas that snow really does exist.

Any comments, suggestions, or observations are very welcome.

Did you use the hood on the lens? If you didn't you should- it would have still had the snowy/blizzard effect but those huge white spots wouldn't be right in your face so much.

But I like the effect of the huge white spots. Gives the viewer some idea of how much that storm really was in my face (which was more or less the intention).

I'm not sure how much of a difference a hood would have made because I believe this shot was taken facing into the wind and snow.
