Picked one of these up about a year ago from a local pawnshop. I'm a cheapskate. You'll find out how cheap. Best 40.00 I've ever spent. Cheaper than a gym membership. It got me outside. Lost 30 pounds walking, biking and toting this camera around.

Completely blown away by what this thing can do. Here's a few favorites:

Yup, I get some pretty nice images from my Canon SX60HS. Nothing wrong with a $40.00 camera if it does what you need it to do. I bought mine (325 refurnished) for actually someone else and she backed out after I ordered. I was pretty upset about it but I threw it in my truck and started using it on lunch and found it's very capable when used properly. It misses a lot because of sub par stabilization and I have tremors. Put when I am steady, she rocks.

Wasn't expecting it I guess. Pleasantly surprised. Clear shots at 200 yds. Does alright with macro too. I'll elaborate more if anyone is interested.

No matter which direction this hobby goes, I'll keep this one around.
