    Took this picture last Friday for a newspaper article on the band Royseven here in Ireland

    The lighting was, as usual for stage photography very spasmodic . This shot was published. Used a 1DS with 24-105 L lens.. about 20th sec a 4.5. IS' came in handy///

    Pretty good shot. The subject is sharp...which is usually a challenge, especially at 1/20. The way the spot light & fog surrounds him is kind of cool.

    Yeah, that's a damn good stage shot for 1/20th of a second.

    nice... did you use a tripod? if not you must have damn steady hands, IS or not x

    Personally I feel that the blast of light is cutting right through the subject. Seems distracting to an otherwise good shot.
