    Not more than one or two days before these photos were taken I had been lamenting in one of the forums here about how hard it was to get a decent picture of a hawk. Then I come home from shopping to this:

    It was eating one of the birds from my feeders. The photos were taken about six feet away through a window and a storm door.

    Thanks Mike. They looked horrible after the snaps. The sunlight was reflecting on parts of the window. They were very bright in some areas and not so bright in other areas. A lot of processing was required to get them looking half way decent.
