Hello! An introduction!

Hello Everyone!

I thought I should introduce myself first before I go off and post away!

I have always been interested in photography (since my first little pink camera my parents got me before going to camp as a kid!)

I had thoughts of pursuing it as a career through high school, but didn't and put it all aside.

I am a recent mom, (with a beautiful 10 month old) and the urge to want to record every second of her life has re-awakened my passion for photography!! I stretched and stretched the use of my little Point and shoot (a Powershot A70) until I just knew that I had it mastered and could not squeeze anything more out of it, so it was time to buy a REAL camera.

I now have a Nikon D80 and am hoping to eventually start a business doing portraits. I am currently working on my portfolio.

I look forward to building friendships on these boards and hopefully getting feedback and improving with your help!
