Hello ! My name is Genny . I am pretty new to photography, I just got my first dslr for Christmas, I have been wanting one for years but my money had to be prioritized. My boyfriend bought me the Canon Rebel xs (or 1000D) kit for Christmas, and ever since I opened the wrapping (and shrieked!) I have hardly been able to put it down!( I know its the introductory model but I don't care I Love it anyways) I am pretty much teaching myself how to use it I already knew the basics like F stops , shutter speeds , ISO etc as I could play with these on my Powershot but the world of interchangeable lenses is all new to me, And I am EXCITED about it!
