Hello, all.

I have lurked around here on and off for a while and decided to register.

I have been "back" into photography for a little while. I recently retired from my first career, and working on a degree for career number two. I have just finished a basic film class and am taking the advanced class in the Spring.

I have mainly Nikon gear: a D40, F90 (my son is using it for his photo class) and N90s; A 35-80 zoom, 50mm f/1.4, an old AIS 105mm macro, SB600 flash, Manfrotto tripod and ball head. I also still have my old Minolta Hi-matic 7s rangefinder (c. 1974) which needs a hot-shoe and battery, but still works, otherwise.

Don't ya just love that old 105mm, manual focus and all. f/2.5 isn't it?

There are some wonderful places to photograph up in your neck of the woods.

I wish - this is the f/4, but I got it in very nice condition. It's actually the reason I got the F/N90 - so I could meter with it.

There are some wonderful places to photograph up in your neck of the woods.
