Good evening all, I'm new to the photography world and new to this forum. I've been searching the internet looking for a good place to start my new adventure. I just got a Olympus E-410 as a gift, and I'm having a difficult time learning how to use the camera.
I know many of you don't like the Olympus, but I am new to all this and I was happy to get the Olympus as a starting point on this new found hobby of mine.

If anyone can lead me to the right place I'd greatly appreciate it. I've read the booklet over and over, but still find it a bit difficult. I'm the type of person that usually can be shown something once and never forget, reading instruction booklets makes me crazy.

Hi, I have the E-410 too.

I recommend to most of the time set it to Aperture mode on the dial. You can the use the control dial to control the aperture setting while the camera selects the best corresponding shutter speed. Aperture ranges will vary with the lens you are using.
