I've wanted to do one of these.. may I just suggest you put it on timed remote release? Or maybe be a little more discrete whilst clicking the shutter

Lol I tried with the self timer but it wasn't giving me enough time and my remote is not that great, needs to be pointed right at the camera. But oh well Came out better than I thought it was going to
