While I love the wall color I prefer the b&w photo. It allows the cat to be the focus instead of the wall.

not so much clean as completely empty.

I played with the crop a bit but I shot it this way internationally--well sort of.

I find I often will shoot a scene with a vertical object on the edge of the frame--I find it gives a scene of depth to the frame as well as balance. Just seems to be something I do.

B&W without the frame. It and the second cushion both draw attention away from the cat/cushion/window light. I'd crop just enough to get rid of the second cushion.
