    Hey,

Today I walked along the Hollywood Blvd while there was a big X-Mas Party...
So many different faces and characters...

    Hope you like them

These are great! Your exposure looks pretty good, maybe a little bright in a couple. I really like your style and you definitely captured a lot of different faces. I think you were successfull in that these images have me wondering about the subjects and wanting to know more about them. If I had to make any suggestions it would be to be patient when it comes to capturing an intriguing expression. #2 and #7, their faces just seem kind of lifeless. My faves are #5 and #8. Do you have any more from the day that you liked?

    Thank you!
This was actually my first try on "street-photography"...
I never really knew how to just shoot people in public.

I had some other really interesting characters but I just couldn't get'em in a good frame...there were thousands of people today, so really hard to get a frame without people running through...

haha, yeah...for #5 I had to run a lot ;) took about 20 shots before having one were he fills the frame...

#8 is always sitting here at the Hollywood Blvd....today I gave her some $, maybe that's why she didn't say anything when I took this pic....

I haven't gotten brave enough yet to photography strangers in the street. Did anyone else notice you taking their picture and give you grief over it?

Excellcent work. I really enjoyed looking at these :thumbup:

I am reminded of the old Kinks song, Celluloid Heroes:

"You can see all the stars as you walk along Hollywood Boulevard,
Some that you recognise, some that you've hardly even heard of,
People who worked and suffered and struggled for fame,
Some who succeeded and some who suffered in vain.

    Everybody's a dreamer and everybody's a star
And everybody's in show biz, it doesn't matter who you are.

    And those who are successful,
    Be always on your guard,
Success walks hand in hand with failure
    Along Hollywood Boulevard. "

    Lyrics by Ray Davies

    i greatly enjoyed these.
Im a huge fan of black and white so that plays a part, but your expressions, the contrasts in colors.. are great. I love 2, it gives me a sad feeling. like a obituary picture almost :(
&& the lines in picture 3 from the door create a very interesting images. makes it pop so much more than if the image was flat.
