Hi!
I just joined your site on the recommendation of my little brother who 6 months ago sold me his old Nikon D40, my first DSLR. I took a long break from photography when I was about 5 thanks to my parent's Minolta film camera only having a 50mm lens, which was not conducive to my interest in doing bird photography. But at the age of 24 I'm back.
I have absolutely fallen in love with photography and am now spending my days working with my D7000 a 35mm f/1.8 and the 18-200mm from Nikon. You'll probably find me wandering around riparian habitats in Colorado if you look. I hope to be a contributor to this site and learn as much as possible and improve my photography. As a musician and poet I was amazed that I had the skill set required to do visual art with photography. I will probably post a few pictures and ask some questions! This is a great site.. I've been lurking.
