This image isn't balanced very well. You're nearly clipping the dog's leg on the left while leaving much more space on the right. The chair in the background and whatever that is on the left is pretty distracting. The dog's backside kind of blends into whatever that is. I would move everything else out of the shot, make sure your background is neutral and get slightly lower (this angle http://www.linphotographer.com/images/blog/2009/082009/bw05.jpg)
Side note: Your dog is drinking coffee. It makes him/her look sophisticated.
