    Hi

I recently bought a 50D. Great camera. However i am currently having trouble importing RAW files into my Photoshop Elements V.7.0. They are present in my DPP program so they are definitely not corrupted or anything like that.

The message i get when i import is
"The file is damaged or is a format that cannot be included in the Organiser"

    Anyone experienced this?

    Thanks for any help

new camera = new RAW converter

This is always the case and forever will be.

Go to Adobe's site and download the newest version of Adobe Camera RAW that is compatible with your version of PS/Elements. I believe it will be v5.6.

Do you have the RAW Pluin for your camera loaded to the program? That is usually the cause. You can go to www.adobe.com and do a search for ACR 50D Plugin and, find it in there or go to support and, find it.
