I found this on a local ad...please tell me if this is a good deal or not? I'm clueless.

And please provide information about the lens. What kind of photos the lens are used for?
Nikon D70 with 18-70mm f3.5-4.5G AF-S DX lens,
rare used, 20 months best buy service plan left $700.00

I also found another camera forsale same camera with the following included: $800.00

Quantaray 70-300mm lens (what type of len is this and what is it best used for)

Don't know about the deals as I don't have D70 experence. However to answer your question on the 70-300 lens, that lens is made by Sigma and is junk and the best use is a trash can filler, JMHO.
