Is taking pictures of a friend of the opposite sex whilst she is nude because she wants pictures of her that look 'pretty' cheating on my girlfriend?

Its only cheating if you are in the same state... If you are in a different state its not..

Hopefully this is something you did recently so can say that it was spontaneous and last minute and that you did not have time to seek (gf's name here) approval. You were simply trying to expand your portfolio with nude portraits. That is how I see it, but I am a guy.

As everyone else has said, it will get out someday and it will backfire if your don't telll her.

I actually didn't do it guys, I was just seeing what the response would be. So, based on the response, I'd say it'd be a good idea not to do it, eh? Sorry I lied to you guys, I just figured playing it like it was real instead of hypothetical would garner more honest responses. You've been helpful. I'll just tell my friend she doesn't need the pictures to feel pretty and she can find someone else to do it.

Nah, the more I think about the idea, the more I think it'd be wrong to do. I mean, I'd rather just wait until she comes up, my girlfriend that is, and use her to gain experience in portraiture and nude portraiture and my friend won't be that offended in the end. Maybe I'll bring it up with my girlfriend though, I don't know, we're sort of already having a hard go of things with the distance between us and all and this situation probably wouldn't help. Ya' know?

My girlfriend has already said she doesn't want me doing them...but if I did...she'd want to be there.

I've had a few girls elude to the fact they'd like those type of picture from me...I've declined so far. Only because I need some lighting and a backdrop...not because I dont' want to lol.

I've shot a few nudes over the years. I have been married for over 30 years.

I have always been up-front about it from the very beginning. In fact, I actually asked my wife to come and help assist me with the shoots.

It put her mind at ease and it also was a tremendous help for the model. It helps put the model at ease to know that I have a female assistant.

Well, since you're up here in Maine with me, I'd say as long as you did the shoot on a tractor (or a small fishing vessel) it's just part of day to day life.
