A recent visit to the Jacksonville Zoo in northern Florida, it was a hot 78 degree December 28th day. Plus I was testing my 2x teleconverter for my 50-200mm...I'm happy with the results...just wish it was a bit sunnier.

More sunny just means a whole new set of issues (shadows across faces, hotspots, etc...).

1. 1/80 f5.8 192mm ISO 400
2. 1/125 f6.2 274mm ISO 100
3. 1/40 f6.8 364mm ISO 1600
4. 1/40 f5.8 216mm ISO 100
5. 1/50 f6.5 316mm ISO 100

If you dont mind me asking..what brand 50-200mm lens were you using? Im looking for a telephoto and yours looks to be pretty sharp. One for further inspection.

Well I use Olympus 50-200 f2.8 Zuiko...(meaning light of the gods) Sorry Olympus propaganda.

But my friend has a Nikon and has a 70-200 f2.8 Nikkor which is very sharp and fast. Its a great lens, he uses it most of the time.
