Juniper

Nice juniper forest a couple miles from the house. Around the forest was more interesting though. Hazy day- shoulda worked.

1) Red Buckwheat

2) Hazy, near sunset.

3) Lord's Candle (yucca whipplei)

It was kinda nice hanging out with the dog despite the haze.

Thanks LP. The red buckwheat really flares up before the sunset. I'm very happy about the color separation in #2. I think it'd be one of my personal bests, if it weren't for the haze. Stupid haze- they must be fumigating L.A., again.

#3, looks like the candle reached the end of its wick and kind of burnt out.

looks very similar to some country I am quite familiar with... i like the dof in #1 and the colors in #2.
