Just bought another Nikon F3HP....

My original was just too good to use. It looked new. I wanted a beater. The "beaters" went for big bucks on eBay. I'm still trying to figure out where the digital people are. Adorama (sp) had 3 beaters that brought big bucks on eBay. So, I bought a respectable F3HP. Yeah some brassing but at least I put my original F3HP back in the box for my daughter. Damn, I love this hobby...

Congrats on the new purchase but....An F3 doesnt belong in a box. It needs to be used and loved and to develop war stories... please take the other one out of the box.
Given the option of one in the box or the 'beater' that I bought; Id still have chosen the beater. The guy I bought it from dropped it down a ravine in the rockies... dug it out of the snow, dried it out and it still works great.... dont know if the one in the box can do that.
