I was doing a little time travel yesterday, and I came across some history of Kodak.
There is a famous saying by Ansel Adams,
"You don't take a photograph, you make it"
The lanuage used in the Kodakery for photographs, is "these were made with"
This makes sense, seeing the time of the Kodakery and Ansel Adams coincided.
I have seen most people use the phrase "shot" this picture (or photo, or image) in many books and websites. I have also seen some reference that "shooting, or shot" is not the proper terminology. Now I understand where it comes from. Adam's first camera was a Kodak Brownie.
If you have not searched or read about Kodakery, it is interesting, light reading.
